The Unbearable Sadness of Jelly Babies

I love jelly babies. I also always eat them by biting their heads off first.

I know exactly how awful this is – biting the head off something small, sweet and defenseless, but this is the jelly baby’s tragic fate. I was thinking about this at one point, which happened to be during a time when a friend and I were making images by scanning lots of candy.

I produced a series by scanning a number of jelly babies, and then scanning them as they each met unfortunate ends.
